Domaine de la Fauconnie
14th August 2019
School teachers Harriet and Sam from central London enjoyed the most amazing wedding day, and celebrated in style with around 140 friends and family at the gorgeous Domaine de la Fauconnie near Bergerac.
The couple had requested a ceremony which was ‘relaxed, intimate, genuine and elegant’; they also said that they didn’t want anything ‘too cheesy!’
Over a period of several months we all enjoyed getting to know each other better and I was able to make many suggestions which resulted in Harriet and Sam achieving all the above – but also a ceremony which included humour, invloved ALL of their guests and meaningfully reflected their fabulously fun personalities.
It was an absolute joy to work with these guys, and it was a pleasure to be a key contributor to a wedding which was nothing short of AMAZING!!
What the Bride and Groom had to say…
”We weren’t sure what we wanted to include in our ceremony. We had a few ideas and Lisa was really helpful in talking it all through with us. She was professional and immediately made us feel that we would be in safe hands!
On the day, the ceremony was very personal and warm. We were able to really enjoy it and Lisa made sure things all went smoothly.
Afterwards, guests commented on how unique and personal the ceremony was, and how it felt right for us.
Thank you, Lisa, for all your help and guidance.
It was the most fabulous day!

The Ceremony
This wedding ceremony was one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever delivered. Not least because we included TWO surprise sing-a-longs, where all the guests sang and swayed along to ‘Love is in the air’ and ‘For once in my life’, both of which only added to the laid back, inclusive and fun vibe of the day.
Sam’s french mother escorted him down the aisle ahead of the bridal party and then Harriet’s stunning bridesmaids led the way for her to make a beautiful solo entrance. Friends delivered surprise readings, nephews delivered the rings and the couple exchanged the most amazing personal vows which had everyone laughing and crying in equal measure.
Their ceremony was a heartfelt and personal expression of their love which on the day, totally hit the spot – both for them and their story and in terms of matching the mood of their wonderful friends and families.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Fryer – it was an honour to be a part of your special day xxx
