Ashleigh and Chris’s Wedding

Unique ceremonies for all occasions

Chateau la Durantie

27th June 2018

The fabulous Ashleigh and Chris from Brighton, tied the knot with impeccable style back in June at Chateau la Durantie, on what was one of the hottest days of the year!.

The couple had met at University over ten years ago and 85 guests gathered on the day; from the UK, Australia, Boston and Copenhagen, to witness this gorgeous couple, finally join together in marriage.

Theirs was a beautiful, elegant affair with a pallette of dusky blues, subtle greys and wild flowers. Simply stunning!!

The brief… and the response

From our very first contact, Ashleigh and Chris said that they wanted their ceremony to feel very relaxed, light-hearted and playful.

Over the following few months I worked with them both via Skype and email to find out as much about them as possible – the good and the not so good – so I could write something true to their relationship (and also create something which contained plenty of humour!).

The ceremony included contemporary music, a reading about friendship and lots of laughter as their unique love story was unveiled.

It was a very personal ceremony which everybody thoroughly enjoyed – in fact, after the ceremony many of the guests told me it was the best ceremony they’d ever attended!

Well, we can’t ask for more than that, can we?!

A few words from Ashleigh and Chris

‘’Lisa was an incredible celebrant, and we couldn’t recommend her more. Our service was fun, extremely personal and so touching..

So many people complimented us on the best service they had ever been too (except for the sweat levels!!) and I couldn’t agree more.

The work towards making our day perfect was critical and Lisa puts everything into every last detail to make sure every couple goes away very happy! X’’.
