Huge congratulations to the gorgeous Martin and Jenny from Saffron Walden who celebrated their wedding at this stunning venue, surrounded by 80 of their friends and family.

These two were, quite simply, one of the loveliest couples I’ve EVER had the pleasure to work with!

And their day was a triumph too; a celebration which truly reflected their unique relationship, their individual personalities and of course their love for one another.

(I also hear that the wedding was so cool that it’s to be featured on Rock My Wedding!) How exciting is THAT?!!

The Ceremony

The original brief from the couple was, and I quote, ‘ Something relaxed, humourous and simple.’

From the outset Jenny and Martin were both very open to ideas and suggestions and were always a lot of fun to work with.

Over the months, I worked with them both together and individually, to piece together all the elements which would enable them to enjoy the sort of ceremony they wanted.

And the end result was wonderful. A ceremony which was sincere and romantic, yet very funny in parts and, above all, it captured their relationship perfectly.

”Lisa, from the word go you were ON.IT (I’m glad one of us was!) We had no idea what to expect as only attended the traditional types of service in the UK and so the flexibility you offered was a real eye opener. I’m pretty sure if I had said I wanted to ride down the aisle on an elephant you would have taken it completely in your stride .

You really took the time to get to know us as a couple and that came through in abundance throughout our ceremony; it was lighthearted, fun and completely personal to us.

Two months later, people are still talking about it. I’m not sure about anyone else but I don’t think you get that kind of feedback after a traditional service!

For anyone wanting something really special and a little different then you really needn’t look any further than this lovely lady.
