Stuart and Juliette’s Wedding

Unique ceremonies for all occasions

Les Jardins D’Eyrignac

29th August 2018

Scottish groom, Stuart and his French bride Juliette, married in a Mairie in Juliette’s home village and then travelled to this beautiful venue to hold a second ceremony which could be enjoyed (and understood)by all their British and French guests.

Friends and family had gathered from France, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England to witness an elegant, intimate wedding in the one of the most beautiful gardens in France.

A Bilingual Ceremony

The ceremony was only my second bilingual one and, as Juliette is a French school teacher, I was a little anxious, to say the least.

I’m pleased to report however, that in the end I received top marks from Juliette (and Stuart) and much applause from their guests!

The couple exchanged their vows, exchanged rings and talked about what marriage means to them, in both languages. There were readings in both languages too and the whole ceremony was a wonderful blend of English and French.

The Venue

Incredible topiary, amazing flower beds, a chinese water garden, a beautifully private ceremony space – these are just some of the features the incredible Les Jardins d’Eyrignac  has to offer; where at every turn, there was a photo opportunity.

The gardens are open to the public year round but fortunately for Stuart, Juliette and their guests, they also host fabulously sophisticated weddings!

What the couple had to say…

”We would both like to thank you for all of your help in putting our ceremony together for us.

We received many compliments on the service, particularity for its blend of personal, humorous and touching sentiments. These positive comments were from both the English and French speaking guests so your efforts in the French sections were much appreciated!

Your suggestions for the readings, vows and what marriage means text were very comprehensive, meaning we could select those that were appropriate for us. These suggestions, along with your calm organisation on the day resulted in a very smooth and enjoyable service, that really did suit us perfectly.

We have no hesitation in recommending you to put together a truly unique service for a wedding.”
