Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Lisa Lister and I’m an Award Winning Independent Celebrant; providing professional ceremonies of the highest quality. I work with discerning couples from around the globe; creating ceremonies which are completely bespoke, individually written and personally delivered. I work in both France and the UK; spending the winter months in Lancashire and all summer in South West France.
All ceremonies can be held at any venue of your choice, at any time, on any day. You can choose the music, readings and poems. You can include as much or as little religious content as you wish. And we can be as creative as you like, the only limit is your own imagination!
The one thing that all my ceremonies have in common is that they are always delivered in a friendly, relaxed and informal style and always include a smattering of humour!

What a pleasure it was working with Lisa!
From the start we knew that we didn’t want a religious ceremony but we didn’t quite know what other styles there were available. Lisa talked us through the different styles, content and feel we could have but mainly that whatever we wanted she could make it happen. She really did deliver too!
We knew it was going to be amazing but she really blew us away with how she delivered it, and really understood the feel that we wanted it. The ceremony was romantic but also light-hearted and fun. Every word said was about us and our quirks as a couple – which we both loved!
Our guests had never been to a ceremony like ours, so it was amazing to hear Lisa overwhelmed with compliments when she joined us for champagne after the ceremony.
She genuinely wants to know you as a couple to be able to deliver the best ceremony for you both. Her passion for her job radiates in her ceremonies. It was an absolute pleasure to work with, and our ceremony was 100% my favourite part of our wedding day ❤️
